Pet Portraits

General Information:
Each piece is handpainted
on carefully selected natural rock, signed and dated, then sealed with
a clear acrylic finish. They can be displayed outside, but may show signs
of weathering over time if not resealed at intervals. I guarantee satisfaction
on all special orders.
Pet Portraits:
Several clear photos of
your animal will insure the best results - the more the better (they will
be returned). Add notes if there is anything misleading about the pictures
(eye color, coat color). For calicos or animals with irregular markings,
include pictures of both sides if possible.
For Cats: Specify
whether you want a curled pose or a more upright, crouching pose. Curled
cats look best when viewed from above, while crouched poses show off long
haired cats better. If you would like to have the animal's name on the
bottom, include that information.
For Dogs: Several
different photographed poses are a great help in capturing the animal.
If you can catch the dog in a curled position, that's ideal, but I can
manage with other poses.
Cottage
Rocks: On occasion I am asked to paint a house to match a photo.
Since I generally don't alter my rock shapes, finding an appropriate rock
may take time, or I may not be able to find one that will work. If so,
I'll return the photos.

Shipping:
When I'm finished with an order, I weigh it in a box and send a post card
telling you what the total will be including 3rd class shipping, which
is by far the most reasonable rate.
